Overview
These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Nurture Sense (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the parent or guardian (“you”, “your”) booking and attending our classes.
By booking a session or term with Nurture Sense, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Booking and Payment
- Classes are booked by term only.
- Payment in full must be received in advance of the start date to secure your place.
- Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received.
- Payment details will be provided upon receipt of a booking form.
- If payment is not received within 14 days of receiving payment details, or before the first class (whichever comes first), the space may be released to another family.
- Bookings are non-transferable to another person or term.
- Bookings are for the specific baby (or babies) named on the booking form only. To maintain a safe, calm, and properly supervised environment, siblings or additional children who are not booked onto the class cannot attend.
Refunds and Cancellations (Parent Cancellations)
- Once a term has started, refunds or transfers are not available, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious illness).
- If you need to cancel before the term starts, please provide at least 14 days’ notice. Refunds (minus an admin fee of £10) may be issued at our discretion.
- Missed sessions (for illness, holidays, etc.) cannot be refunded or carried over to another term.
Class Cancellations (Nurture Sense)
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a class (for example, due to illness, emergency, or venue closure), you will be offered either:
- a replacement session, or
- a refund for the cancelled class.
If a full term is cancelled before it begins, all payments will be refunded in full.
Occasionally, we may need to change the class venue or time; where possible, you will be notified in advance, and an alternative option will be offered.
- Nurture Sense shall not be liable for failure to deliver classes due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. venue closures, severe weather, or public health restrictions). In such cases, we will offer a replacement session or refund.
Class Conduct and Safety
- Parents/carers are responsible for the safety and supervision of their child(ren) at all times.
- Please do not attend if you or your child are unwell, including with vomiting, diarrhoea, or a high temperature. Please refer to “Is my child too ill for school?” – NHS for guidance.
- Nurture Sense reserves the right to ask anyone to leave a class if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. In this situation, we will refund you for any sessions you have not yet attended.

Health, Wellbeing, Food & Drink
- Please inform us of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs prior to attending.
- Nurture Sense operates in line with good hygiene practices. Equipment is cleaned regularly, and props are used safely and appropriately.
- You are responsible for ensuring your child is fit and well enough to participate.
Food, Drink & Allergies
- Nurture Sense does not provide food or drink during sessions. Parents and carers are responsible for any food or drink they choose to bring for themselves or their baby.
- Nurture Sense cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, as sessions take place in shared community venues that are used by other groups before and after our classes. Parents and carers remain responsible for managing their child’s allergies and any medical or dietary needs.
- Parents/carers should inform Nurture Sense of any relevant allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities via the booking form or by email prior to the start of the term.
Health and Liability
- You participate in Nurture Sense classes at your own risk.
- Not all activities are suitable for all babies. You know your baby best — please follow your instincts and take a moment of quiet away from the group if needed or simply observe. A quiet space will be available for breastfeeding or sitting out.
- Nurture Sense cannot accept responsibility for loss, damage, or injury during sessions unless caused by our proven negligence or failure to follow reasonable safety procedures. Where we are found liable, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid for the relevant term.
Privacy and Media
- Nurture Sense values the privacy and dignity of all families attending our sessions.
- No photographs or videos will ever be taken of children during classes by the instructor.
- No images of children’s faces or identifiable features will ever be used for advertising, social media, or promotional materials.
- We ask that parents do not take photos of any other children or adults during classes. Please ensure that other children or parents are not visible in the background of any photos you take.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are available for purchase directly through Nurture Sense.
- Vouchers can be used toward the cost of a term of classes and must be redeemed within 12 months of the issue date.
- Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Vouchers must be presented at the time of booking and are valid only for Nurture Sense sessions.
Data Protection and Safeguarding
- Personal information is collected and stored securely in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Your details will only be used for class administration, safety, and communication related to Nurture Sense.
- We will never share your personal information with third parties unless we are legally required to do so, for example where there are safeguarding concerns or if a child or vulnerable person is at risk of harm.
- Any information shared in these circumstances will be done so responsibly, following relevant safeguarding procedures and in line with our duty of care.
